From their home base at The Study in Richmond, California, they craft wines specifically designed to complement flavors of the diaspora. They center thoughtful sourcing—working exclusively with vineyards practicing organic, biodynamic, or regenerative farming methods—and low-intervention practices that allow the fruit to shine

Social Justice and Environmental Restoration Statement

The Laughing Gems believe in creating fun wines through practices that honor both people and the planet. We select grapes from vineyards that prioritize fair labor standards and sustainable farming methods, supporting agricultural practices that protect ecosystems and the workers who tend them. While we approach winemaking with joy, we do take our responsibilities seriously, which is we are dedicating a percentage of our profits to Indigenous land trusts, acknowledging the original stewards of the land that makes our work possible.
